A North Carolina couple has been awarded $1.5 million in a Kugel hernia-patch lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that the mesh patch that was implanted in the man was defective and broke. This caused the man to develop sepsis infection and other internal injuries.

The trial lasted nearly a month, and the jury decided that the manufacturers of the patch has designed a defective product. This incident caused the man to undergo multiple surgeries to repair the broken patch and he continue to suffer from physical pain.

If you or a loved one has suffered serious injury due to a defective hernia patch, you need experienced representation on your side.
