What is Necrotizing Pneumonia?

Posted on January 12th, 2012 No Comments

A severe form of pneumonia, known as necrotizing pneumonia, causes severe discomfort and pain in an individual.

This condition is usually contracted by people who have recently been in a coma or have been under a prolonged period of anesthesia. This deadly disease attacks the lungs and targets the bronchial tissues.

Necrotizing pneumonia causes the creation of a surplus amount of bacteria growth in the targeted area.

Symptoms of necrotizing pneumonia can include:

  • Lasting cough
  • Severe pain in the chest
  • Unnecessary sweating
  • Fever
