How Is AlloDerm Made?

AlloDerm is made by processing skin collected from deceased donors. This cadaveric tissue is removed and turned into an acellular tissue matrix; the lack of living cells means that the body is less likely to reject the graft. When it is applied, it encourages a patient’s natural skin cells to repair themselves in the area, using the matrix as a base.

If you or someone you love has been negatively affected by an AlloDerm graft, he or she may be entitled to financial considerations to pay for medical bills and to compensate him or her for pain and suffering. To discuss your needs with the dedicated AlloDerm attorneys of Williams Hart, please contact us today by calling 800-761-3187.
